Makario is an exercise full of tradition, innovation, design and passion to provide handmade stoneware crafted with traditional mexican techniques. We have created contemporary aesthetics alongside traditional techniques that are part of the heritage of Mexico’s craftsmanship. Modern design lines mix raw materials, finishes and artisan shapes.

Each of our pieces are made 100% by hand and fired at high temperatures to make it resistant to liquids, or non-porous (1,280 °C) and is also known as stoneware; which is characterized by its great strength and durability compared to similar products.

We love to create and experiment with glazes, textures and shapes to bring a new perspective to the use of stoneware in each project.
